Someone refers a child
Pastors, teachers, neighbors and guardians refer children through our secure referral form.

We verify with care
Trained case managers and liaison officers investigate, verify needs in person, and document everything confidentially.

Committee approves support
A review committee approves each case against our program criteria, with full audit trails on every decision.

You fund real needs
Donations flow to designated funds, are allocated to approved children and programs, and every expenditure is receipted and reconciled.

Child sponsorship
Your sponsorship supports a child and the program behind them
When you sponsor through FOCHOR, your monthly or annual gift funds FOCHOR’s charitable program serving that child and children in similar circumstances. FOCHOR retains responsibility for the appropriate use of all donated funds.
- Verified profiles only; published only after safeguarding approval
- Regular, age-appropriate updates about the child’s progress
- Communication flows safely through FOCHOR staff, never direct contact
- Cancel or pause anytime; funds remain restricted to child welfare
Restricted stays restricted
If you give to education, it funds education. Designated gifts can only be reassigned with authorization, a recorded reason and an audit trail.
Independent oversight
Segregated duties mean no single person controls money end-to-end: requests, approvals, payments and reconciliation involve different officers.
